Hi Bakers!
June is all about starts and stops. It’s dance recitals, baseball tournaments, and track finals. It’s the end of another school year. It’s also the beginning of more carefree days and starry nights. The return of iced coffees and sliced watermelon under the sun. Of juicy strawberries, zucchini blossoms, and crunchy snap peas plucked from the garden.
I want to hold on to that end-of-the-year energy as long as we can. Not the stressed-out parent kind, but that of childhood. The Popsicle Fridays, extra recess, loose bedtimes, and unabashed joy. We're gonna pick as many berries as possible, make a boatload of pesto with fresh basil, and press wildflowers within the pages of thick books. We’ll take sushi to the beach, eat pizza on a blanket in the backyard, and always order the double scoop.
